India has been a home of many dynasties and empires
since she was known to the creation. From Mauryas, Guptas, Sultans of Delhi, to the Mughals, India has seen it all.
She has been plundered, despoiled and raped by these dynasties but it was not
over… the real villains of India’s story were about to come, the Britishers!
A boon or curse to the country, difficult to say but
they changed our country in every aspect. They were traders but traded the
country, exploited to every extent but somehow we survived. There oppression
was increasing every day and a mass outrage was building up among the
people…future was being written and the time was coming to kick the villains
out of the scene, but…when the future of India was being written by the people,
one of the Britishers was also writing the future of the country in his own
ways. A.O.Hume formed a party known as ‘Congress’ but the leaders of this party
stood against the government and later gave a tough fight and paved way for India’s
freedom. The party mood was on in India and we became independent but we didn’t
know that again a dynasty will emerge in the country and will decide the fate
of this country.
It
was the managers of India National Congress…the Gandhis! They were at our
service from then till now, their reign continues. Whenever elections were held
in India it was an ultimate truth that congress will win, people got accustomed
to it. Slowly and steadily the face of government changed and our country was
governed not by Congress but by the Gandhis!
A real diplomats and great leaders of India, Gandhis
have given a lot to this nation. Their dedication, their devotion, their life
was all bestowed to India. Governance was looking so smooth and country was
flourishing…..but something went wrong!
The democratic scenario of the country was changing
and getting converted into kingship where the ‘royal family’ ruled the nation. People
began to feel dominated and gradually corruption began to grow in this nation
of billions!
A
word called “scam” became synonymous to congress government or to be more
precise ‘the royal family’s government’.
Since the governance of Jawaharlal Nehru scams
rocked our country be it the ‘jeep scam’, ‘cycle scam’, ‘Mundra scam’, and the
list goes on…..as time passed and India became economically strong, scam didn’t
stopped but its value increased, and the worst part was that these scams were
largely done under the government of ‘royal family’.
Not making this piece of text too long let me throw light
on the scams which took place under the UPA since 2004…., the 2G spectrum scam
was a huge blow to the country economically. Satyam, Tantra trucks, Chopper,
Adarsh society etc. are the great ‘milestone’ achieved by the leaders of UPA.
From 2G, CWG, CAG to ‘Jijaji’ this dynasty of great
rulers have always helped the rich to get richer and poor to become poorer!
But as we have seen in the past that every dynasty
how good it may be like the Guptas or how bad it may be like the Delhi
Sultanate, its empire has come to an end. This is what we have seen in the
present elections of 5 major states of India viz Rajasthan, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh,
Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram. Apart from Mizoram BJP won the assembly elections
in all other states. The worst part was in Delhi where Sheila Dixit, CM of
Delhi since 15years of the royal family loose the elections and who defeated it….a
totally new party with less experience than the congress! Certainly it is the
end of congress in these states but the climax is still to come…
The Lok Sabha elections which will be held in 2014
would be very challenging for the congress. A new dawn is coming and the
political clouds are more towards the BJP this time. Everyone has made it a
battle between BJP and Congress or Rahul Gandhi vs Narendra Modi….but I say
that it is a battle for real democracy. Whoever win or loose, the democratic
feature of our motherland should prevail!
